A new chapter in the heart of Cortina
Casa Guargnè was born from a project by architect Ambra Piccin, who transformed a traditional mountain chalet into a charming hotel. An attentive intervention that breathed new life into the building without altering its soul, reinterpreting it in a contemporary key. With its elegant lines, bespoke details, and a hint of nostalgia reminiscent of a 1980s postcard, Casa Guargnè today stands out for its high-level hospitality in the Cortina landscape.
A continuous dialogue with nature
At Casa Guargnè, everything exists in harmony with the surrounding landscape: the architecture, the interiors, and the rhythm of daily life. Every detail is designed to follow the gentle pace of the mountains, reflecting the changing seasons. It is a constant dialogue to be admired through the large windows or experienced firsthand, among scenic walks and exclusive activities.
Refined elegance, Cortina soul
The style of Casa Guargnè stems from a clear and conscious vision of what the mountains represent. The colour palette crafted with Loro Piana evokes the nuances of the Cortina d’Ampezzo landscape; Cortina Blue — the same used by the Louis Vuitton brand — discreetly defines the chromatic identity of the interiors. Along the corridors, white quartz artworks interact with natural surfaces, adding a precious touch to the hotel’s interiors.
A sustainable and mindful vision
The lighting design, conceived to highlight materials and volumes, creates enveloping atmospheres, while the Nordic-inspired mood is expressed through essential lines, light woods, and soft, welcoming forms. Everything coexists harmoniously within a sustainable vision that respects the surrounding environment, as reflected in the choice of natural, locally sourced materials.
